A career early educator, Fran specializes in connecting companies and non-profit organizations to the early childhood sector through inbound marketing, relationship building, and technology. Fran founded Engagement Strategies to use her experience as a child care program administrator, product marketing and technology executive, and her passion for inbound marketing to do good for both her colleagues in early education and select companies and non-profit organizations. In 2013, Fran started a journey to good health when she underwent a heart transplant. During her recovery, her husband Mike Simon took over operations of the company.
With no early childhood education experience, except what he’s learned from Fran since marrying in 1983, Mike Simon took the reins at Engagement Strategies as Interim COO in 2013. Mike’s almost 30 years of experience in finance, contracts, business operations, sales and management provide a great background to operate Engagement Strategies forward.
Mike received a BA in Political Science from George Washington University in 1983, and an MBA from George Washington University in 1985.
